Improving Research Credibility

If auditing efforts are indeed revealing a reproducibility problem in the areas of scientific (and behavioral) research, then perhaps a better way forward might take the form of a ‘credibility rating’ appended to published papers, indicating (for a start) the number of times a study has been reproduced, and by whom.
