As a Proxy for Real Relationships

Every once in a while a topic will be brewing in the back of my mind, until it reaches the point where I’m ready to write about it.  But then, I’ll come across someone else’s discourse on the subject and find that they’ve already articulated my own thoughts better than I could have.  This is one of those times.

Here, writing for Harpy’s Review, Pamela Haag shares some of her observations on social media addiction, and the trend of supplanting meaningful engagement with tweets, updates and the unquenchable yearning for Likes.
