Billed as the portal to ‘Family Safe YouTube’ KideoPlayer really delivers. No doubt there’s volumes of kid-safe content available at everyone’s favorite streaming video site, but the problem is you have to weed through so much other stuff to find it. This isn’t exactly helpful to parents, nor is it such a great thing for children to be doing on their own. With KideoPlayer it’s as simple as launching the web page. From the moment you arrive your young visitor is presented with a cartoon television set and a randomly chosen kid-friendly video. Whenever your little viewer is ready to ‘change the channel’ they can simply hit the space bar for another random clip. Content is all prescreened (by real people) and usually presented in short 3-10 minute segments. Since the space bar is the only way to interact with KideoPlayer children won’t find themselves stumbling into teen rated content.
