No Porn Pledge

There’s no denying it.  A lot of people (mostly men) are consumers of pornography.  But lately, there’s a growning myth that ‘pretty much everyone uses it.’  And if that’s true then that makes it normal and healthy right?  No.  In fact, it’s quite possible that this myth is deliberately perpetuated by popular media and those that hope to rationalize their own addiction to pornography.  The aim of the No Porn Pledge website is to show that you’re not alone in your distaste for porn; nor should you feel ashamed for taking this position.  Signing the pledge is quick and easy.  A simple web form asks only for your first name, city and the first letter of your last name.  An email address is optional and only used for those that later wish to have their name removed.  Or you can simply take solace in knowing there are many people out there that see pornography for what it is – an unhealthy addiction that damages lives.
